Rice Alternative Energy Club

The Rice Alternative Energy Club provides a community, support resources, and informational events for students interested in the global transition from fossil fuel dependence to alternative power sources such as solar, wind, geothermal, and others. Beginning in Fall 2020, we have begun organizing a series of speaker events featuring alternative energy professionals of various types in the Houston area. The goal of this first stage is to increase awareness of the club and the industry as a whole, and take input from club members to decide what other sorts of events or activities group members would be most interested in.
